Accounting and Financial Operations Associate, Investments - Luxembourg

Our client is a global investment and technology organization is seeking an Accounting and Financial Operations Associate to join its Luxembourg-based finance team supporting several European entities. The role spans a wide range of responsibilities, including financial and regulatory reporting, tax compliance, treasury management, and accounting operations. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to manage day-to-day financial processes, coordinate statutory filings, oversee accounts payable and budget monitoring, and ensure compliance with evolving European regulations. The position also involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on governance-related matters, entity structuring, and board preparations, as well as contributing to platform enhancements and special initiatives such as financial analysis, system improvements, and automation projects. This opportunity provides exposure to international fund structures and financial operations, offering the chance to work across multiple business areas including legal, compliance, treasury, and technology.

Ideal applicants will have three to four years of experience in accounting, audit, or financial reporting within the investment management, fund administration, or financial services sector, along with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities are essential. Fluency in English is required, while additional European language skills such as French or Spanish are advantageous.
