At ISL, we believe that communication is about more than just sharing information – it's about telling stories that connect people. Every day, amazing things happen in our classrooms, on the stage, and out on the sports field, and we want to capture and share those moments with our community.

We're looking for a Communications & Marketing Generalist – Content to help us do just that. This is a junior role, perfect for someone who is creative, curious, and eager to learn. You'll join a supportive team where your voice matters, and where you'll have the chance to grow your skills while making a real contribution to school life.

What you'll do

  • Bring ISL to life online – help us keep our website, portals, and social media channels fresh and engaging with timely updates and stories.
  • Capture moments that matter – take photos and short videos of school life, from concerts and sports matches to the everyday energy of the classroom.
  • Keep our community connected – support the creation of our weekly newsletter, the Yearbook, and other publications that celebrate ISL life.
  • Help us stay organised – contribute to our editorial calendar and content library so we can plan ahead and share consistently.
  • Be part of the story – work closely with staff, students, and families to gather information, listen to their experiences, and share them in creative ways.

What we're looking for

  • Strong communication skills in English – you enjoy writing, editing, and sharing stories.
  • A curious and creative mindset – you see opportunities for storytelling all around you.
  • Comfortable using (or excited to learn) digital tools like websites, newsletters, and social media.
  • A team player who is flexible, organised, and ready to lend a hand.
  • Bonus points if you enjoy photography, video, or design – but don't worry, we'll help you build these skills too.
