Ensure a smooth flow of all shipments via road / air / sea Enhance European Logistic synergies and plan logistic strategies in close cooperation with Manager Logistics Develop strategic logistic plans to maximize efficiency across Europe Collect and consider logistics requirements from customers / subsidiaries. Ensure prompt fulfilment of these requirements Liaise and negotiate with carriers Review all existing logistic flows and implement improvements Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and costs Monitor carrier KPIs and put appropriate corrective measures Daily communication with carriers to fulfil customer needs and ensure proactive reporting Adhere to legal requirements and industry standards WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Extensive market knowledge in European Logistics At least 8-10 years' experience in Logistics Excellent negotiation skills Effective interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others on all levels of the organization Open minded, innovative and willing to challenge conventional approaches Ability to work independently, take ownership and solve tasks proactively Analytical and creative thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills Establish strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
