Your Day to Day

  • Act as the main point of contact for a dedicated portfolio of depositary clients, ensuring a high-quality client experience
  • Oversee clients' daily operations and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and internal requirements
  • Provide proactive guidance, technical knowledge, and operational support across all fund types domiciled in Luxembourg
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including product development, operations teams, and senior management
  • Monitor and assess third-party service providers and delegated functions, ensuring outputs align with regulatory standards
  • Support new business onboarding, client transitions, and change management initiatives within the Depositary function
  • Contribute to operational and regulatory audits, and actively participate in client board and committee meetings
  • Review and update internal procedures to reflect evolving regulations and risk management expectations
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains across the Depositary function
  • Ensure that Service Level Deliverables (SLDs) are clearly defined, monitored, and met consistently
  • Analyse the impact of regulatory developments on the Depositary function and help implement any required changes
  • Maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, delivering value-added insights and tailored support
  • Support cross-border collaboration and knowledge sharing with other teams across the EMEA region
  • Provide mentorship and day-to-day support to junior colleagues, promoting a collaborative team environment
  • Actively participate in strategic projects and initiatives contributing to the continuous improvement of the Depositary operating model

Your Profile

  • Previous experience in a Depositary, Custodian, Management Company (ManCo) / AIFM, or fund servicing environment
  • Strong understanding of Luxembourg fund structures, with solid knowledge of AIFMD and UCITS regulatory frameworks
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional client service, including managing client queries and relationship development
  • Confident communicator, capable of interacting professionally with clients, auditors, regulators, and internal teams
  • Demonstrated ability to manage change, including onboarding of new clients and operational transitions
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with a meticulous approach to detail and accuracy
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to support others and contribute to a positive team dynamic
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a proactive and solutions-oriented attitude
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with overall team goals and standards
  • Enthusiastic and resilient, demonstrating a professional and constructive approach under pressure
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of French, German, or another European language is considered an asset
