Distribution Support Associate

Responsibilities:

• Compiling management information and preparation of reporting
• Management of Luxembourg Terms of Business and Distribution Agreements approval process
• Working with key Suppliers to resolve issues and building strong working relationships
• Dealing with queries both telephone and written
• Completing oversight of Distributors and Distribution Activity
• Be quick to respond to issues and proactive in finding effective solutions
• Building strong relationships with Luxembourg Operations stakeholders
• Performs local Operational support activities
• Supporting the Operations Director and ensuring coverage of key process as part of a small local team
• Where necessary represent the team on Projects providing input and feedback as appropriate
• Support the Global Distribution Operations Team to ensure the strategy is met by developing and maintaining relationships
• Support International Distribution Branch offices and related Suppliers

Requirements:

• Prior experience in Financial Services with knowledge of AIF and UCITs funds and operations (including CSDs, Transfer Agents, Paying Agents and Correspondence Banks) is essential
• Very good knowledge of English is essential. French and German (preferable), Luxembourgish (advantageous)
• Knowledge of Luxembourg Regulatory environment (preferable)
• Good communication skills – both written and spoken at all levels
• Customer Service focused
• Knowledge of business environment, products and operations
• Professional manner and good interpersonal skills
• Ownership of issues
• Previous experience of dealing with external Distributors and Suppliers
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with personnel from all areas across the business
• Highly organised and able to prioritise
• Self-motivation, ability to work under own initiative
• Flexible approach to work and willing to travel to international branches and clients
• Strong desire for completeness and accuracy
• Must be able to work to agreed deadlines
