Graphic Programmer / Technical Artist

Values Value is a recruiting company with expertise in game development and is currently looking for an experienced Graphic Programmer. Our client is a Ukrainian mobile game studio pioneering the hybrid-casual genre with a portfolio of 300M+ downloads. They build visually distinctive games that push the boundaries of what is possible on mobile and are looking for someone to help them go even further.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Developing and implementing unique graphics technologies, writing shaders (Unity/HLSL)

• Optimizing custom graphics algorithms for mobile devices

• Creating beautiful and satisfying visual effects – the “wow” effect, ASMR aesthetics

• Developing new technologies for rendering and animation

• Researching and implementing cutting-edge techniques from the computer graphics industry

• Working on both new projects and existing live titles

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Experience with shaders, rendering, and animations

• Ability to describe animations using mathematical functions; understanding of the physics of motion, tweens, and easings.

• Creative and artistic vision – a sense of style, color, and composition

• Understanding of the graphics pipeline and the characteristics of mobile GPUs

• Experience working with Unity/HLSL (Unreal/GLSL background is also acceptable)

• Knowledge of the Ukrainian language

Desirable:

• Strong math skills: trigonometry, vector math, matrix operations

• Experience with VFX
