Job description

We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst to join our team and work on an exciting Private Capital project for one of our key clients in the financial sector.

Your Role

As an IT Business Analyst, you will act as a key liaison between business and technology teams, focusing primarily on the FrontInvest Alternatives platform. You will ensure business requirements are translated into efficient IT solutions, contributing to the platform’s continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Your main responsibilities will include :

  • Analyzing, gathering, and documenting business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Coordinating with internal and external IT development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of platform enhancements.
  • Preparing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
  • Supporting the solution design, testing, and validation phases.
  • Conducting and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Non Regression Testing (NRT).
  • Performing advanced Level 3 support for complex production issues.
  • Delivering sprint demos and maintaining detailed release documentation.
  • Ensuring smooth knowledge transfer to support and operational teams.
  • Actively contributing to Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews).

Your Deliverables

  • High-quality business and functional documentation.
  • Comprehensive test cases and test reports.
  • Release notes and user documentation.
  • Well-structured handover materials for operational support.

    • Your Profile

    Education & Experience :

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 6–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within Private Capital or Alternative Investments environments.

    • Technical Expertise :

  • Hands-on experience with FrontInvest (eFront) or similar Private Capital platforms.
  • Strong command of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Familiarity with testing tools (Octane, Jira Lanta) and documentation tools (Confluence).

    • Business Knowledge :

  • Solid understanding of Private Capital activities (Investor Services, Fund Accounting, Depositary, or Banking Services).
  • Awareness of ISAE 3402 controls and Information Security standards.

    • Languages :

  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
  • French is a strong advantage.
