Core Banking System Engineer (CDI)

(Ref : IT )

Role responsibilities :

The Core Banking System Engineer is responsible for maintaining, developing, and optimizing the core banking system, ensuring its stability, performance, and integration with other financial applications while supporting business operations and regulatory compliance.

Your role :

Maintain, troubleshoot and enhance Olympic Core Banking on IBM AS400.
Develop, modify and optimize RPG programs to support banking operations.
Develop and maintain CL (Control Language) programs and batch jobs for automation.
Axway Automator knowledge is an asset.
Java / Apache knowledge is an asset.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including BA, PM, IT Teams, Banking operations to ensure stability and enhancement of the system.
Demonstrate good organizational, communication and writing skills.

Your profile :

5 years of work experience in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of Olympic, CORE 4.1, MME, Treasury Forex / Accounting modules.

Strong knowledge of AS400 OS and RPG development.

Familiar with ITIL processes such as Incident Management and Change Management.

Good technical skills & willingness to keep up to date on technological advances.

Experience Axway Automator, Java, Apache is highly appreciated.

Strong analytical, problem solving skills.

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Good verbal / written communication in English is mandatory, any other language is considered as an advantage.

Able to work on multiple items simultaneously, flexible in terms of afterhours support and planned weekend work.
