Your tasks Exploratory implementation of containers / Kubernetes / OpenShift Define and implement the base pilot On-premises cluster Architecture and resources (bare metal / VMS, DAS / vSAN / SAN, etc...) Repeatable (configuration as code) rapid (re)deployment of cluster Storage management (Node, Persistent volumes, shareable PVs) Cluster external and internal connectivity, naming and service discovery. Define roles, skill requirements and basic tasks for people who would manage the cluster Define and test potential application classes (like std Java app) in the cluster Define and implement initial monitoring system / integration to Elastic (potentially pre-existing Elastic module for Containers).

Monitoring of application / client resource usage.
