Job descriptionProven experience as an Oracle Developer with strong SQL expertise. Excellent knowledge of relational database design, performance tuning, and query optimisation. Ability to work in an international environment with English fluency; additional European language skills are an asset. Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyse and resolve complex technical issues. Experience working on large-scale projects in structured and regulated environments (finance / insurance / industry). Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Your Day-to-Day
- Contribute to the design, development, and optimisation of SQL-based applications and solutions.
- Write, test, and maintain efficient and scalable database code, procedures, and scripts.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts and functional teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across large datasets.
- Participate in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimisation of SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Provide support for integration projects and work with other developers on cross-functional initiatives.
- Document technical specifications, processes, and best practices to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
