Tasks and responsibilities :
To provide high-level support to the Global Internal Audit (GIA) Luxembourg team in auditing complex financial regulatory reporting returns, including main regulatory ratios. In particular, to :
- Lead the review of key assumptions used in the context of major regulatory reporting returns and ratios (CET1, Leverage Ratio, Solvency Ratio, Large Exposure).
- Bring proven market best practices and act as a reference point in relation to the regulatory reporting returns and ratios.
- Support GIA Luxembourg in advanced control assessment over operational financial processes, and in the in-depth testing of the regulatory reporting returns and ratios.
Key activities :
Senior Subject Matter Expert support required to :
Define and validate expected key controls in the Financial Reporting process with minimal supervision.Identify and challenge key regulatory reporting returns, ensuring compliance with best-in-class practices.Validate and defend key assumptions in relation to the identified reports.Drive the definition of the extent of substantive testing, including the analysis and verification of underlying data.Knowledge and Experience :
University graduate with a degree in business or a related subject, or equivalent qualification.Extensive and proven experience in an Audit or Finance function, with a strong focus on regulatory reporting returns.In-depth understanding of financial processes, as well as regulatory reporting and ratios.Solid knowledge of the Private Banking business.Expert-level knowledge of EU and Luxembourg prudential regulations (e.g. CRD, CRR, CSSF Circular 12 / 552…).Recognised for excellent communication skills and the ability to operate as a senior advisor.Proven ability to work autonomously under tight deadlines and handle complex, high-stakes deliverables.
