AIFM RISK MANAGEMENT OFFICER

Specializing in corporate and fund administration, Atdomco provides tailored services for venture capital, private equity, real estate, and securitization companies. We support international investors by managing investment structures, legal compliance, and reporting requirements. The company excels in assisting clients with investment vehicles, including AIFMD-registered funds, SICAR, and RAIF.

We are an independent AIFM boutique initially established by a seasoned real estate asset manager. We are now scaling-up our activities and business as a third-party specialized AIFM. About the Role

In this role as an AIFM Risk Management Officer, you will be involved in the day-to-day management and oversight of complex Private Equity, Fixed Income, Real Estate, Funds of Funds portfolios of various Alternative Investment Funds. You will directly report to the Conducting Officers.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in the onboarding of new investment funds as a subject matter expert in the field of risk management.
• Participate in the analysis and assessment of the investments or divestment opportunities for our funds under management.
• Identification and monitoring of potential risks (market, credit, liquidity, operational, ESG) affecting the funds under management.
• Understand and evaluate complex risk management models, assessing their implications for the funds under management, and using this analysis to inform risk decisions and strategies for our AIFs.
• Engage in regular research and reading to stay apprised about the state of the economy, global financial markets, as well as investment fund regulatory environment.
• Participate to the implementation of, evaluation and where required amendment of the risk management processes and systems (including sustainable investment policies) in order to allow the AIFM to identify and assess investment opportunities, follow the risk profiles as well as manage and monitor the portfolios of our funds under management.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc risk reports for internal stakeholders, including Conducting Officers and the Board of Managers. Your reports will provide insights into the risk profile of the funds and highlight any deviations from the established risk management framework.
• As part of our growing team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and integration of automated solutions that streamline risk monitoring, reporting, and analysis;
• Assist with on-boarding of new funds and initial due diligences;
• Participate to the drafting, review and update the AIFM’s policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements;
• Act as the key relationship manager for clients, serving as a trusted point of contact for their investment management needs.
• Engage with clients on a strategic level, understanding their needs and contributing to the growth and retention of key relationships.
• Be the point of contact for fund’s service providers including depositary and central administration;
• Support the Conducting Officer in day-to-day requirements and administrative tasks.
