Your missions
As Legal Counsel - German Commercial & Corporate Law, you will :
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial contracts supporting the Group’s operations across Europe, with a strong focus on procurement, construction, sales, and service agreements.Provide comprehensive legal support to business units regarding commercial matters, including risk assessment and dispute resolution.Deliver legal advice on matters related to German law.Offer guidance on strategies for mitigating commercial risks.Carry out additional responsibilities aligned with the scope of the role.Your ideal profile
German law degree (minimum of four years of legal studies), ideally complemented by a postgraduate qualification such as a Master’s in Law or an LL.M. in commercial / business law from a recognized law school or top-tier university.Minimum of 5 years' legal experience, preferably gained in a law firm or within the legal department of an industrial company, with a clear focus on commercial and contract law.Demonstrated expertise in German law, EU regulations, and international commercial law. Familiarity with common law systems, especially English contract law, is highly desirable. Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, and interpreting a broad range of commercial agreements.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and German. Proficiency in French and / or Luxembourgish is advantageous, though not essential.Highly autonomous with a proactive mindset, excellent organizational and time-management skills, strong attention to detail, and the utmost integrity and discretion.
