Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Manager / Manager in Banking Risk Management for our Consulting department

As an Assistant Manager / Manager in our Banking Risk Management business line, you will play a key role in project leadership, team management, and client relationship management. You will also be involved in the strategic definition and development of the team's commercial offerings.

What you will be working on

You will work on a variety of assignments, collaborating with multidisciplinary experts on topics such as :

  • Implementation of prudential banking regulations, including Basel IV and other regulatory references
  • Review and implementation of capital and liquidity management frameworks, with implementation of ICAAP / ILAAP and development of Recovery Plans
  • Development and review of Enterprise Risk Management Framework, covering risk appetite, limits, and risk indicators
  • Support in regulatory reporting ( COREP, FINREP)
  • Development of new commercial offerings tailored to market needs

As an Assistant Manager / Manager, you will also be responsible for :

  • Leading client projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring excellence in deliverables
  • Building strong client relationships by consistently delivering value and becoming a trusted point of contact
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members by providing learning and growth opportunities
  • Identifying business opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, and actively contributing to the growth of the department
  • What we look for

  • Graduate of a top engineering or business school, or with a postgraduate degree specializing in Risk Management, Finance, or Financial Modeling
  • Minimum 4 to 6 years of professional experience in banking risk management, ideally within a consulting firm, financial institution, or regulatory body
  • Knowledge in banking-related risks ( Credit, Liquidity, Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book, etc.), with an excellent understanding of regulator's expectations (ECB, EBA, CSSF)
  • You have a strong command of Microsoft Excel and familiar with risk data aggregation and reporting tools (, R, Python, SQL, VBA, DataIku)
  • You are a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, displaying a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and the ability to manage teams and multiple priorities
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset, client excellence orientation, and a drive to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Very good command of English (spoken and written). Knowledge of French or German is a plus
