IT Support Specialist (m / f) (Ref. IT_1225) Department : Information Technology Summary of Duties : The IT Support Specialist is a member of the Global IT department responsible for providing front-line IT support for our EU operations, US Headquarter and overseas subsidiaries. The IT Specialist is responsible for tracking, troubleshooting, and resolving IT service requests and assisting with helpdesk activities, as well as the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of hardware, software, printers, cell phones, copiers, and fax machines. Additionally, this role includes proactive monitoring and escalation of cybersecurity incidents to ensure the security and integrity of company systems. Reporting to the Global IT Manager, his / her essential Duties and Responsibilities are : Regular tasks performed and outcomes to be accomplished on the job. Other duties may be assigned. Provide front-line computer / technology support for all Dynabrade internal and external users. Configure, deploy, and manage Microsoft Windows, Apple iOS, and Linux hardware and software systems including servers, PCs, laptops, tablets, mobile equipment, iOS and Android cell phones, desk phones, label and network laser printers. Maintain ERP database and perform database entry Maintain phone system Maintain and configure CRM system Creation and maintenance of user accounts for Active Directory, Samba, VPN, Office365, ERP, Internal reporting system, etc. Create and maintain existing documentation for end-users. Maintain accurate and detailed help desk trouble ticket records, IT asset inventory, software licensing, and network documentation. Provide general housekeeping and cable management of Dynabrade EU IT assets and IT areas (dusting, static spray, cleaning, organizing). Monitor, investigate, troubleshoot, and escalate cybersecurity incidents in collaboration with IT security teams to ensure timely resolution and risk mitigation. Monitor hardware and software systems and network infrastructure to keep products patched, updated, current, and secure. Manage audio-visual assets including TVs, Chromecast, projectors, content displays, Power BI displays, conference rooms, and video conference equipment. Maintain confidentiality regarding information being processed, stored, or accessed.
