The Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM) at the University of Luxembourg contributes multidisciplinary expertise in the fields of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences and Medicine.

Your role
The Research Facilitator (RF) will strengthen the team of research facilitators at FSTM and will work closely with one existing RF to support primarily the PI's in the computer science department. In this capacity, the RF will :
- Support the Faculty's researchers find, apply for, receive, and manage research funding (e.g. EU and FNR; funding process support, negotiations, budgets), including support for financial project reporting and contributing to solve IPR issues
- Contribute to the Faculty's research activities and dissemination in academia and society
- Participate at meetings, info days, and other events
- Foster effective internal communication and collaboration within the Faculty and the University administration regarding all research-related questions

Degree in STEM - Sciences, Technology, Engineering and MathematicsAt least 3 years in project management - preferably in research - with a proven experience in finding and managing research fundingDemonstrate adaptability and flexibility at work to develop new skills, and take on board new ideas and concepts (such as, for example, new funding opportunities, new funder or institutional requirements)Service-oriented mindset, willing to provide quality service to the faculty researchersEfficient communication : in person and through email. Diplomacy will be a reliable asset.Multitasking and the capability of prioritization of tasks is neededProven ability to work in a team, should be willing to contribute to work-flows and team development / team effortsExperience in the use of common computer software and collaborative on-line platformsFluent command of English.
