Maintenance Controller (m/f/x)

For our department MCCwithin LuxairAirlines, we are looking for a (an):

Maintenance Controller (m/f/x)

Main duties:

• Provide a network wide technical control, support and trouble-shooting towards Flight crew and Maintenance staff for all technical issues on LUXAIR’s Fleet and to third parties / airlines according to current internal and legal regulations in force
• Supervise and request the needed manpower and skills to the different jobs focused on the daily technical operation and update all involved departments with all relevant technical and operational information / disturbances
• Give clear instructions about priorities and deadlines in order to guarantee the highest dispatch reliability according to current internal regulations in force
• Adjust work assignments in case of fluctuating workload in order to achieve the optimal performance and secure the action on Airworthiness Directives according to current internal and legal regulations in force
• Ensure that all deferred defects are correctly recorded in the Technics database with all relevant information according to current internal and legal regulations in force
• Support the production in the application of the critical task identification and double inspection procedure according to current internal and legal regulations in force
• Provide assistance in trouble shooting to the maintenance teams and the flight crews in case of Pilot-In-Command-release application including on side assistance
• Secure the monitoring of the fleet status and the consideration of ongoing and future maintenance activities and grant acceptance of last minute changes planned by operations
• Perform the duty of a Certifying Staff and has the privilege to perform the double inspection procedure
  
  

Required profile:

Minimum required criteria:

• Be a holder of a DAP or equivalent
• Be a current Aircraft Licensed Staff B1 or B2
• Have good knowledge of EASA Part M and Part 145 regulations
• Be holder of a type rating of at least one Luxair aircraft type
• Show good conflict management skills
• Show a good sense of priorities
• Be prepared to work in irregular shifts (24/24 hours 7/7 days)
• Accept Duty Travel
• Show good communication skills in English as well as skills in French or German (spoken and written)

• Be stress resistant
• Become holder of all type ratings relevant to Luxair
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the company
• Show strong organizational skills
• Be capable of working independently as well as in a team
• Attend and pass successfully all mandatory trainings according to the area of activity
• Maintain the strict confidentiality of the data
• Show user skills in the tools used in Technics

The ideal candidate:

• Knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language is considered as asset
