Backup Engineer (m/f)

We are looking for a Backup Engineer (m/f) for one of our clients based in Luxembourg.

Your responsibilities

• Management of data protection and business continuity solutions (BCP, DRP).
• Management of the backup and support platform.
• Monitoring and daily exploitation of backup reports.
• Control of data protection infrastructures (Internal and SaaS clients).
• Management of daily customer tickets (incidents, requests).
• Participation in integration or migration projects.
• Support to the sales department.
• Writing of documentation and procedures.
• Management of reports and KPIs.

Your profile

• You have an IT degree and at least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• You have a solid knowledge of IT related fields such as: Windows Server, Microsoft technologies, storage, virtualization, backup systems, Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Knowledge of the following tools is a plus: Evault, Carbonite, OpenText, Cohesity or any data protection software.
• You are fluent in French and you also have a good English level.
