About the role

We're seeking a motivated Junior Developer to join a dynamic team focused on building and enhancing monitoring tools for complex systems. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for infrastructure observability, automation, and continuous improvement in a collaborative, agile setting.

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain monitoring solutions using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios, and custom scripts

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement GitOps workflows, integrate APIs, and support CI / CD pipelines

Troubleshoot and optimize monitoring systems across Linux-based environments

Read and understand legacy monitoring scripts, including Perl, and contribute to their modernization

Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups

Technical skills & experience

Must-have

Minimum 2 years of experience as a developer, with hands-on exposure to monitoring engineering

Familiarity with Python, Bash, and Linux systems

Understanding of GitOps, CI / CD principles, and working with APIs

Experience working in agile development environments with a collaborative mindset

Nice-to-have

Exposure to Perl or other industry-standard monitoring tools

Experience with infrastructure-as-code or cloud-native monitoring practices
