In this role, you will help us identify unusual activity, support customers with clarity and empathy, and contribute to a seamless and secure payment experience. About the job | Your responsibilities As a Fraud Prevention Officer, you will contribute to safeguarding our customers by combining analytical thinking, structured case handling and excellent customer communication. Your main tasks will include: Monitoring customer activity to identify unusual patterns or behaviours that may require further review. Performing structured checks to ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal guidelines. Supporting customers and internal teams by clarifying fraud related queries and guiding them through the right steps. Managing fraud related cases from initial review to proper documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Working collaboratively with colleagues across teams and with external partners when required. Contributing ideas and insights to improve fraud prevention processes and strengthen our customer protection efforts. About you | Your background, skills and personality Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, finance, economics (3+ years of experience in a similar field). Know-how: Good knowledge of MS Office; ideally SQL basics; strong analytical skills. Business knowledge: 3+ years of experience in a similar field. Fluency in German and English; proficiency in other languages is a plus. Transparency and communication: Clear and direct communication style with a commitment to engage openly and constructively, maintaining. Adaptability and flexibility: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, navigating change effectively. Collaboration and teamwork: A natural team player who thrives in a flat organisational structure and actively contributes to the collective success of the team. Cross-functional collaboration: Experience in working collaboratively across different teams and departments to foster agility and innovation. Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive matters.
