WHAT YOU WILL DO
As Transportation Supervisor EMEA, you will report to Warehousing and Transportation Manager EMEA. In this capacity, you will be responsible for managing and continuously optimizing the European and MEA distribution network and end‑to‑end shipment processes. The role ensures on‑time, in‑full delivery to customers while maintaining full cost control, service excellence, and regulatory compliance.
The position also has full responsibility for leading and developing the shipping/logistics team:
Managing and optimizing the European & MEA distribution network to ensure reliable, efficient and compliant transport operations aligned with business needs.
Serving as the primary and final point of contact for transport companies and freight forwarders, including carrier performance management, freight rate negotiations and bi-annual business reviews.
Leading the logistics team by ensuring appropriate staffing, recruitment, training, performance management and continuous skills development.
Ensuring smooth day-to-day transportation execution by proactively resolving disruptions, approving rush delivery requests and implementing corrective action plans when issues arise.
Owning freight and distribution cost management, including monthly cost stewardship, reporting, analysis and provision of cost data to support pricing and business decisions.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives by identifying, proposing and implementing enhancements to logistics processes, systems and network design through benchmarking and market intelligence.
Ensuring full compliance with international transportation, customs and distribution regulations; acting as the primary contact for customs matters and communicate regulatory changes to internal stakeholders.
WHO YOU ARE

A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business and/or Supply Chain Management;
Fluency in English and preferably French, another language is an asset;
10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management in an industrial, multinational environment
Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
Customer-oriented and communication skills
Excellent knowledge of SCM businesses and knowledge with an ERP (JDE)
