An internationally recognised law firm is looking to strengthen its Banking & Finance team in Luxembourg with the recruitment of a Junior Associate.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading practice advising major financial institutions, international corporates, investment funds and sponsors on high-value domestic and cross-border financing transactions. You'll work alongside experienced lawyers in a collaborative and international environment where learning, technical excellence and career development are genuine priorities.
The Role
As a Junior Banking & Finance Lawyer, you will be involved in a wide variety of financing matters and regulatory work, gaining exposure to sophisticated local and international transactions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the drafting, review and negotiation of financing documentation.
- Advising clients on Luxembourg banking and financial regulatory matters.
- Supporting domestic and cross-border financing, refinancing and structured finance transactions.
- Conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda.
- Working closely with Partners, senior associates and colleagues across multiple jurisdictions.
- Building direct relationships with clients while progressively taking on greater responsibility.
Your Profile
- Qualified lawyer or soon to be admitted to the Luxembourg Bar.
- Up to 2 years of experience in Banking & Finance, Capital Markets or Financial Services.
- Excellent academic background.
- Fluent in English and French. German and/or Luxembourgish would be considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical and drafting skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented and eager to develop within a leading international practice.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
