The HR / People Intern supports the People (LU, IRE, UK) & Group Excellence Lead across a broad range of HR operations and administrative tasks in Luxembourg and across the Group. The role is designed to give a motivated junior profile hands-on exposure to how a lean, multi-jurisdictional HR function operates in a regulated financial services environment. This is a generalist role. The intern will work across different areas of HR activity — from employee lifecycle administration to data management and process documentation — building a practical foundation across the People function. The intern works under the direct supervision of the People (LU, IRE, UK) & Group Excellence Lead and does not independently manage employee relations, approve HR actions, or represent the company in external communications. Responsibilities & Duties HR Administration Support Assist with the preparation of employment documents, contracts and standard HR correspondence Support onboarding coordination for new joiners in Luxembourg: prepare welcome packs, track completion of administrative steps, follow up on outstanding items Support offboarding administration: track checklists, coordinate return of equipment and access removal Maintain and update HR filing and records in line with GDPR and Group standards Assist with payroll administration HRIS Data Support Maintain and update employee data in the HRIS (HiBob) under the direction of the People (LU, IRE, UK) & Group Excellence Lead Run data quality checks and flag discrepancies Assist in producing standard HR reports and metrics Process Documentation Support the documentation and standardisation of core HR processes (onboarding, offboarding, leave management, etc.) Assist in drafting and formatting HR guidelines, templates and internal communications Contribute to the maintenance of the Group HR process library General HR Operations Handle incoming HR queries (internal post, admin requests) and route them appropriately Support the coordination of Group HR calendar events: performance cycles, salary review rounds, pulse surveys Assist with any ad-hoc HR projects as directed by the People (LU, IRE, UK) & Group Excellence Lead Qualifications Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or master's degree in HR. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Discreet, reliable and professional in handling confidential information. Fluent in English; French is a strong plus given the Luxembourg environment. Genuine interest in HR and people management. Eager to learn across all HR topics — not looking for a narrow, specialised role. Structured and methodical in completing administrative tasks. Proactive: asks questions when uncertain rather than guessing. Able to manage priorities effectively across a part-time schedule. Team player: comfortable supporting colleagues across the Group People team. Aligned with ONE's culture and values.
