Risk Manager (CDD - 6 months)

AManco S.A. is the alternative investment fund manager with Arendt. It is wholly owned by Arendt Services and is regulated and supervised by the Luxembourg supervisory authority (CSSF – Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier).

AManco S.A. has the capacity to manage a wide range of investment strategies and asset classes (private equity, venture capital, real estate, debts and fund of funds).

Risk Manager (CDD - 6 months)

As part of the Risk Management team at AManco, the Risk Manager will support the Conducting Officer responsible for Risk Management in implementing and maintaining the firm's risk management framework for alternative investment funds. The role focuses on identifying, monitoring and reporting fund risks, while ensuring compliance with AIFMD and other applicable regulatory requirements.

Your role:

• Review the main policies and procedures of the department and their implementation;

• Define, set-up and produce in association with the Risk Management team, the regulatory risk reporting solutions covering the whole process of production;

• Prepare, in association with the Head of Risk Management, the Client & Business Acceptance Committee, to ensure the covering of risk topics for all new projects;

• Set-up and manage day-to-day activities of funds under management across various alternative asset classes following the on-boarding phase; monitor all risks (including investment compliance monitoring) for funds under management with the adequate escalation process;

• Support the CO RM in the definition, set-up and monitoring of fund’s risk profiles;

• Attend AManco Investment Committee and prepare the material necessary (risk review) as part of the transaction process of our alternative funds;

• Produce the risk management reports to the Governing bodies (including Funds Board of Directors). Attend Board of Directors meetings of funds under management.

• Ensure that the Risk Management function delivers the necessary supports for internal committees and funds’ governing bodies.

• Participate to year-end audits of funds under management; manage auditors’ requests for internal audit of the Company.

• Participate in strengthening our risk management framework by contributing in improving our process, systems and governance, and by supporting the development of the risk management framework.

• Support for ESG-focused funds. Manage the risk aspects related to our funds under SFDR (article 8 and article 9), specifically integrate ESG restriction in the risk management framework and review the pre-contractual, periodic and Website disclosures from a risk perspective.

• Contribute to the initial and ongoing due diligence of Investment Advisors and/or delegated Portfolio Managers, from a risk perspective, to ensure they meet our standards and comply with regulatory requirements.

Your profile:

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field;

• Fluent in both English and French, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Additional languages would be considered an asset;

• Strong interest in alternative investments (Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt, Infrastructure, etc.), ideally supported by an initial professional experience within the asset management, fund industry, or risk management environment;

• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills;

• Proactive, rigorous, and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment;

• Team-oriented mindset combined with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of assigned responsibilities;

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills. Knowledge of additional IT tools, such as SQL, would be an asset.
