Senior Manager-Operational AML & Compliance Services

Your role

• Lead and oversee AML/KYC due diligence activities in compliance with applicable regulations, client requirements and internal policies.
• Review and challenge complex CDD/KYC files, risk assessments, screening results and remediation activities.
• Act as an escalation point for high-risk and sensitive AML/CFT matters.
• Manage client relationships, engagements, reporting and service delivery.
• Manage, coach and develop a team, ensuring effective workforce planning and performance management.
• Monitor production, quality controls, KPIs and service levels, implementing corrective actions where needed.
• Drive process improvements, operational efficiency and transformation initiatives.
• Support business development activities, including proposals, presentations and service development.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure their effective implementation within the business.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of services.
• Undertake client secondments and work from clients' premises when required, providing AML/KYC expertise and operational leadership.
• Perform any other duties required to support the development and objectives of the department.
• Actively promote AIS services in cross selling activities.

Your profile

• Master’s degree in law, Finance or Economy or an equivalent experience
• Fluent in English, any other language would be considered as an asset
• You have a solid knowledge of the Luxembourg AML / CFT related laws and regulation in Luxembourg
• Strong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to coach, influence and build accountable, high-performing teams. You are proactive, rigorous with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong client-management, communication, negotiation and presentation skills, with credibility at senior stakeholder level.
