Freelance Meta Ads Specialist - Full Remote

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Meta Ads Specialist to manage and optimize digital acquisition campaigns for our clients, primarily SMEs and small businesses.

The role covers the entire Meta Ads lifecycle, from account audits and strategy definition to campaign creation, launch, management and continuous optimization across Facebook and Instagram, with a strong focus on performance, conversions and profitability.

Your Responsibilities

Meta Ads Strategy & Audits

• Audit existing advertising accounts and quickly identify optimization opportunities.
  
• Define acquisition strategies based on each client's objectives, market and budget.
  
• Structure accounts and campaigns to maximize efficiency and performance.
  
• Define the most relevant audiences, campaign objectives and conversion journeys.
  

Campaign Creation & Management

• Create, configure and manage Facebook Ads and Instagram Ads campaigns through Meta Ads Manager.
  
• Manage lead generation, traffic, conversion, sales and retargeting campaigns.
  
• Build and optimize audiences, including Custom Audiences, Lookalike Audiences and retargeting.
  
• Structure campaigns, ad sets and ads.
  
• Define advertising angles and creative recommendations tailored to different audiences.
  
• Test different formats, messages, visuals, videos and calls to action.
  

Budget & Optimization

• Manage campaign budgets and bidding strategies.
  
• Identify the best-performing campaigns, audiences, placements and creatives.
  
• Implement A/B tests and experiments to continuously improve results.
  
• Monitor frequency, acquisition costs and creative fatigue.
  
• Adjust budget allocation based on performance and profitability objectives.
  

Tracking & Analytics

• Implement, verify and optimize the Meta Pixel.
  
• Understand and manage Conversions API (CAPI) and server-side tracking requirements.
  
• Use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to complement performance analysis.
  
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of event and conversion tracking.
  
• Understand attribution challenges between Meta and other acquisition channels.
  

Performance & ROI

• Monitor key KPIs including CPM, CTR, CPC, CPL, CPA, conversion rate and ROAS.
  
• Analyze campaign performance and translate data into concrete optimization actions.
  
• Identify the audiences, campaigns and creatives generating the strongest results.
  
• Build clear reports focused on performance, conversions and ROI.
  
• Provide actionable and prioritized recommendations for each client.
  
• Stay up to date with Meta Ads developments, platform changes and new features.
  

Candidate Profile

• Experience: Solid and demonstrable experience managing and optimizing Meta Ads campaigns, ideally across multiple industries.
  
• Meta Ads: Excellent command of Meta Ads Manager and Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns.
  
• Digital Acquisition: Strong understanding of lead generation, conversion and retargeting strategies.
  
• Tracking: Strong working knowledge of Meta Pixel, conversion events and a good understanding of the Conversions API.
  
• Analytics: Good knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.
  
• Creative Strategy: Ability to analyze creative performance and provide recommendations on advertising angles, messaging, formats and content to test.
  
• Performance: Strong ROI and profitability mindset, going beyond basic visibility and engagement metrics.
  
• Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and quickly translate insights into concrete optimization actions.
  
• Organization: Excellent ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously and work independently.
  
• Personal Skills: Autonomous, rigorous, proactive and comfortable providing strategic recommendations.
  
• Track Record: The ability to present concrete examples of campaigns managed, advertising budgets handled and results achieved will be highly valued.
