In this role, you will be part of our Group Accounting team, working closely with our European branches and various internal stakeholders, giving you a comprehensive view of the Group’s accounting and reporting activities. You will take responsibility for complex accounting topics and have the opportunity to actively contribute and further develop your experience in international accounting.

How you'll make an impact

• Participation in the operational accounting and reporting of the insurer AIOI Nissay Dow Insurance SE (AND-E SE) with its branches in Italy, Germany, France, Spain and Belgium, in accordance with Luxembourg commercial and tax law
• Perform monthly closing activities and consolidations at the company level of AND-E SE, including closing entries related to EU reinsurance business
• Validate, control, post, and document holding company transactions as part of the financial statement preparation and ensure accurate accounting treatment
• Prepare the annual financial statements of ANDIE SE in accordance with Luxembourg insurance law and internal requirements, and support monthly VAT returns and tax declarations
• Act as a key contact for Finance teams and internal interfaces across the Group, including Tax, Actuarial, FP&A/Controlling, and Internal Audit
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors, tax advisors, and Luxembourg authorities and support the preparation and submission of regulatory reporting to the CAA
• Support subsidiaries with accounting-related topics and changes to processes, including the implementation of new accounting requirements and financial and accounting policies
• Contribute to Finance projects and digitalization initiatives aimed at establishing, optimizing, and automating accounting and reporting processes

What it takes to succeed in this role

• University degree with a focus on Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or a comparable qualification, such as certified accountant
• Several years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting within the insurance industry, with strong knowledge of Lux GAAP and IFRS, particularly consolidation in an international environment
• Good understanding of insurance accounting and reporting; knowledge of Luxembourg tax law and insurance supervisory requirements is an advantage
• Good Excel skills and experience with accounting IT systems, ideally SUN, as well as a good understanding of IT processes
• Independent, reliable, and accurate way of working, combined with strong organizational and analytical skills and the ability to take ownership
• Fluent English and good French skills; German is an advantage
