Description de posteYou have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position. Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Fluent in English and French. German is a real asset. Hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and supporting Web application infrastructures (Apache HTTPD and JBoss EAP on Linux). Strong understanding of high-availability, security, and transaction management in distributed environments. Practical knowledge of TLS / PKI, including certificate / key deployment and configuration in Web and Middleware services. Experience in application security design and vulnerability assessments. Ability to justify and challenge technical decisions and produce high-quality technical documentation in English. Solid experience with the follorwing technologies : Linux (Red Hat), OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Helm, Java / JavaEE, Maven, GIT, SSO solutions, Cloud platforms. To reinforce our teams, we are looking for a Senior Web & Application Server Engineer speaking English and French.
Your main responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Web and Application Server components (Apache HTTPD, Red Hat JBoss EAP, Oracle WebLogic) for Cloud-based deployments using OpenShift and IaaS / VM platforms.
- Take ownership of assigned projects, act as a technical lead, and coordinate small teams when required.
- Assess new technologies and propose innovative solutions for critical applications.
- Define and document system architecture and security standards, especially for Internet-facing applications.
- Maintain and enhance Java / JavaEE integration components, including security modules, documentation, and test suites.
- Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams and manage interactions with Middleware / software vendors.
- Participate in major production releases (around 4 per year, some on Saturdays).
