Description de posteYou hold a Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. You have ideally one or two years of relevant experience in the areas of Alternative Investment Funds administration, domiciliation or audit firms. You are familiar with accounting software like Bob50 and / or Trax Accounting. You are fluent in English and French (any additional language is considered as an asset). You possess solid skills in MS Office and a general ease with digital tools. You are rigorous and well organised. You are a team player, able to take initiative and to meet deadlines with initiative and efficiency. Continuous training in technical and soft skills. Junior Accountant
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our fast-growing Fund Administration department. Opportunity Financial Services is an independent, fully integrated fund administration and corporate services provider, established in Luxembourg since 2003 and authorised as a Professional of the Financial Sector (PSF) since 2009. Led by an entrepreneurial and tech-savvy management team, Opportunity Financial Services has more than EUR 5.1 bio of Assets under Administration in the fields of Private Equity, Real Estate, Venture Capital, Debt and Cryptocurrencies.
Your responsibilities :
- Managing day-to-day bookkeeping for alternative investment structures and liaising with third parties such as clients, investors, and service providers.
- Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate supporting documentation.
- Preparing periodic Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations and reconciling investor reports with financial statements.
- Assisting with audit processes and handling ad hoc reporting.
- Supporting the preparation and reconciliation of VAT and tax returns.
