Your role - Are you ready for a challenge? The Private Markets Monitoring Analyst is responsible for performing adequate assessment of valuation, capital transactions and risks linked to Private Equity and Real Estate funds or any other alternative assets with limited liquidity and transferability (Non-Traditional Assets - NTA), in order to mitigate financial, operational, legal and reputational risks. Your responsibilities will be as follows : Review and analysis of standard private equity transaction documentation; Assessment and plausibility controls of the valuation of existing private investments as well as all relevant risk factors related to that type of investment within an insurance policy; Coordination with internal and external partners of any sensitive topics; Proper documentation and filing of collected and analysed documentation; Accurate application of the corporate NTA policy and NTA procedure. Deposit request follow-up upon occurrence of capital transaction, distribution, exit or valuation update to ensure updated data are reflected at custodian banks Monitoring of any change of custodian Identification and justification of position mismatch within the reconciliation process Reporting of undeposited asset to the Senior Management on a quarterly basis Ensure documentation and filing of collected and analysed documentation and evidence are on file for audit purpose Ensure accurate application of the Deposit Procedure Your profile - Have you got what it takes to become our Private Markets Monitoring Analyst? Bachelor or Master in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or any other relevant field; 1-5 years' experience in Private Equity or Real Estate fund administration through a Management Company, a Bank or Insurance company Private Equity desk or an Audit firm; Hands on attitude, i.e., full ownership of assigned cases; Strong team player and strong communication skills, motivated to learn Skilled user of Excel or any other data management tool Service-oriented and solution finder attitude; Proficiency in English. Fluency in French is a strong advantage.
