Purpose of the role :
The Data Architect plays a pivotal role in designing, governing, and advancing the enterprise data architecture at BIL. This position is responsible for ensuring that data remains accessible, reliable, and secure, while rigorously aligning data solutions with the organization's strategic objectives.
The scope of responsibilities includes supporting advanced analytics, adhering to regulatory mandates such as DORA and BCBS 239, and promoting innovation across a complex hybrid IT environment.
By supporting the transformation of data into actionable insights, the Data Architect establishes effective data management, enables sophisticated analytics, and drives innovation throughout the institution.
This role will report to the Chief Architect / Head of Global Architecture Team.
