We are looking for a Compliance Manager to join a PSF-regulated company based in Luxembourg. This is a key position in a growing international organisation where compliance plays an important role in managing risk and ensuring strong business practices.
As Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for applying and improving the company’s compliance framework, with a focus on second-line controls, regulatory requirements, and risk management. You will report directly to the Compliance Director, based in Luxembourg.
Main Responsibilities
Governance and Monitoring
- Carry out on-site monitoring and testing, as defined in the Compliance Monitoring Plan
- Ensure the company respects all relevant PSF regulations, circulars, and legal requirements
- Manage the AML / CTF framework, including reviewing and following up on KYC files
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and assess how they impact the company
- Prepare reports on compliance and AML topics for the Global Head of Risk and Regulatory Compliance
- Support the preparation of internal and external audits, as well as regulatory visits
- Help improve internal policies, procedures, and compliance guidelines
Collaboration and Advice
Work closely with the Legal team and other departments to manage compliance risksProvide compliance input on internal projects and changes in regulationSupport compliance awareness across the company through clear communicationHelp senior management follow up on incidents and take the necessary actionsImprovement and Risk ManagementSuggest improvements to compliance processes and ways of workingMaintain and update the company’s risk-scoring system, including AML risk scoringLead and support compliance-related projects and tasks, as assignedYour Profile
University degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a similar area5–7 years of professional experience, including at least 3–4 years in the Luxembourg financial sector (e.g. Big 4, asset manager, or bank)Good knowledge of Luxembourg and EU AML / CTF rules, CSSF circulars, and financial regulationsFluent in English; French and / or German is an advantageUnderstanding of investment fund structures, operational risks, and internal controlsStrong communication skills and ability to work well with teams at all levelsAnalytical, reliable, and solution-orientedWell-organised, detail-focused, and able to work independentlyComfortable working under pressure and managing different prioritiesWhat the Company Offers
