Payments Integration Control Manager

JP Morgan's Finance & Business Management Control Management Group is seeking a Vice President level candidate for the Payments Controls team in EMEA. The role involves coordinating end-to-end controls due diligence for M&A integrations, enhancing the controls management roadmap, and standardizing governance to ensure alignment with JPM standards. This high-visibility position requires expertise in operational risk assessment and control integration for acquisitions.

As a Control Manager Vice President, you will lead the development of an enhanced control framework that promotes a continuous and integrated approach to risk assessment. Your role will also involve ensuring that the team aids in top-down risk analysis, real-time control issue detection, escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation.

Job Responsibilities :

• Builds pragmatic plans to mitigate operational risks during the integration phase of acquisition
• Develops Executive-level materials for meetings with Payments business and Firmwide leadership
• Builds and maintains strong, collaborative working relationships with program stakeholders and peers and technology partners, with focus on execution
• Manages inputs to support the regional Payments governance framework, including the preparation of monthly materials for the Payments Regional Control Forum, Payments Product Control Forums, and the Regulatory, Policy & Industry Change Forum.
• Provides support for Ad Hoc meetings with Payments product, sales partners and corporate functions (business management, compliance, operational risk) on inherent risks and issue identification (. issues and action plans tracking and recording in CORE)
• Develops and enhances the existing governance around the business including new policies and procedures, process enhancement and building and maintaining a robust and flexible governance framework in partnership with the central control management team.
