Internship in Electrical MAIT

YOUR MISSION :

Yuri Lux GmbH is looking to add an  Electrical Engineering Intern  (all genders) to its ScienceTaxi BioForge Team. This position will be focused on helping the team with the product manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing the electrical system under the guidance of more senior engineers. As a team member, you will work cross-functionally with members of other discipline to ensure the completion of visions and timelines set by the project. During your internship, you will gain experience in working with a professional team, working in an agile development environment.

YOUR TASKS :

The following tasks and responsibilities will be part of your role :

• Support   the  assembly, integration and tests of electromechanical hardware used for microgravity experiments.
• Help with the manufacturing of harness.
• Support w rit ing  and execut ion of  test procedures and reports.
• Partially responsible for organizing laboratory tools,  parts , and components.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best performance for the overall system.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED :

You’re either a currently enrolled student or have graduated within the last 6 months.

You have experience in related fields and with electrical systems, including integration and testing.

You’re hands-on and not afraid to use tools (hammer, drill, file, milling machine…) for small adjustments.

You enjoy learning and being an active part of a development team.

You’re self-motivated, proactive, and have a “get things done” attitude.

You stay adaptable even in situations with high uncertainty.

You focus on practical solutions and execution.

You have a low ego and show empathy toward your colleagues.

You’re fluent in spoken and written English; German is a plus.

Familiarity with space standards (ECSS, SSP) is a plus.

Knowledge of SolidWorks or similar software is a plus.
