We are looking for a highly skilled Network Security Administrator to safeguard our IT environment and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our network systems. The ideal candidate will combine deep networking expertise with strong security acumen to implement, maintain, and monitor security controls that protect the organization's infrastructure from evolving cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

Network Security & administration :

Manage and secure network infrastructure, including LAN / WAN, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and network segmentation.

Configure, maintain, and monitor routers, switches, and Firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet).

Oversee intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS / IPS) and EndPoint protection tools.

Conduct regular vulnerability scans, analyze potential risks, and apply mitigation measures.

Ensure high availability and optimal performance of network systems through proactive monitoring and tuning.

Participate in network architecture design, upgrades, and security hardening initiatives.

Security operations :

Monitor and respond to security alerts, incidents, and anomalies.

Define, implement, and enforce IT security policies and best practices (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).

Support compliance efforts, including GDPR and internal / external security audits.

Manage identity and access controls, including user provisioning and privileged account management.

Maintain and update documentation related to network and security configurations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in network and security administration.

Strong knowledge of security technologies such as Firewalls, SIEM, Antivirus, and IDS / IPS solutions.

Proficiency in network protocols, routing / switching, VLANs, and VPN configuration.

Relevant certifications are a strong asset : CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, CCNA Security, or Fortinet NSE.

Familiarity with Microsoft and Linux environments, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
