Conducting Officer (Portfolio Management) & CEO - Luxembourg

Allocator One Group is a global investing platform redefining how institutional capital reaches private markets. We operate through two synergistic businesses:

• Allocator One backs exceptional first- and second-time fund managers around the world—acting as “seed-investor + platform” for emerging VC funds.
• Infra One, our fund-ops and tech arm, provides the regulatory, administrative, and tech infrastructure that allows those new funds to scale rapidly and globally. We are already live and serving in the UK, US, Austria, Germany and other countries.

Together, we deliver both the capital and the structure fund managers need—and in doing so build a global ecosystem of platforms, people, and ideas that reshape private markets.

Tasks

We are seeking a Conducting Officer (Portfolio Management) & CEO to anchor our Luxembourg fund administration and regulatory hosting flagship. This is not a passive administrative mandate; it is a role for a Commercial Architect. You will build the "Operating System" for the next generation of European venture capital.

You will serve as the primary face to the CSSF and the strategic partner to the emerging GPs we host—balancing the velocity of a startup with the rigor of a sovereign wealth fund.

Commercial Architecture

• Own the "Portfolio Management" function under AIFMD, overseeing capital deployment across a high-velocity platform of sub-€50M venture and buyout funds.
• Challenge GP investment theses from first principles—you won't just check boxes; you will stress-test deal logic and valuation models.
• Serve as the commercial voice of Infra One in Europe, driving the expansion of our Host AIFM platform into new asset classes (ELTIF 2.0).

Regulatory Diplomacy

• Own the strategic relationship with the CSSF, navigating complex cross-border delegation discussions (AIFMD II) without slowing down the business.
• Translate shifting regulatory sands into scalable internal policies that enable, rather than block, innovation.

Operational Leadership

• Build the Luxembourg hub from "Employee #1." You will set the culture, hire the support team, and define the operational cadence.
• Partner with our product teams to automate the "boring" parts of AIFM oversight, allowing us to scale to 100+ funds efficiently.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Asset Management, with specific "alpha" expertise in Venture Capital or Private Equity Fund Administration (not just UCITS/Liquid).
• CSSF Approved: You have previously held a Conducting Officer mandate or an equivalent senior management role approved by the regulator.
• Residency: Based in Luxembourg or the immediate Greater Region (daily presence required).
• Builder Mindset: You are tired of the "billable hour" mentality. You want to build equity value and are comfortable starting from zero.
• Fluent in English and at least one other language (French/German is a plus but not mandatory).
