Accountant - AIFM

Our client are a growing AIFM with a high-performing office in the heart of Luxembourg City. Due to expansion they are looking for a new Accountant! Duties : - Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting and annual reporting and financial statements in accordance with Luxembourg GAAP ; - Ensure the daily bookings in the dedicated accounting software for both Luxembourg main entity and the Italian branch ; - Support the general ledger accounting and reconciliation processes for both Luxembourg main entity and the Italian branch ; - Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions for both Luxembourg main entity and the Italian branch ; - Participate in the preparation of the VAT and tax returns with the dedicate suppliers for both Luxembourg main entity and the Italian branch ; - Support annual audit preparation and liaise with external auditors ; - Prepare the payments to submit to the Finance Director for review and approval ; - Provide ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as required ; - Ensure proper documentation and archiving of financial records. Requirements : - Degree in Accounting and Finance ; - Initial 1-3 years experience in a corporate accounting or finance role is required ; - Good knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP is mandatory ; - Knowledge of the Italian accounting principles is considered as a plus ; - Proficient in Microsoft Excel is a prerequisite and in accounting software such as Sage BOB is a plus ; - Fluent in English (spoken and written) - Basic knowledge of Italian is required ; - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills ; - Ability to organize themselves and work independently ; - Ability to work in a fast-paced international environment.
