Business Analyst IT / banking

Job descriptionStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and documentation tools Solid experience with Oracle SQL and PL / SQL database technologies Banking industry background with understanding of financial services operations Knowledge of legal archiving principles and regulatory requirements Experience in wealth management or private banking environments (preferred) Background in institutional banking operations (advantage) Familiarity with core banking applications or CRM systems (beneficial) Fluent English communication skills required German language capabilities (advantageous) Analytical mindset with attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Your Day to Day
- Support IT system decommissioning initiatives by analyzing business and technical requirements
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather specifications for legal archiving processes
- Design comprehensive metadata structures and governance rules for document classification
- Create detailed business requirements documentation for data preservation solutions
- Define data retention policies and procedures for regulatory compliance
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure archival solutions meet business needs
- Participate in system analysis and documentation reviews
- Assist in the preparation of legal hold procedures and protocols
