Applicants must be enrolled in a Master's program, and the internship must be a mandatory part of the degree.
Within the Department of Population Health, Dr. Torsten Bohn, Head of the Nutrition & Health Research Group (NUTRIHEALTH), aims to explore nutrition, dietary exposures, and chronic disease outcomes, with a special focus on cardiometabolic health and type 2 diabetes within the framework of an ongoing PhD project.
We are offering a 6-month paid Master's (2) student internship at our premises. This internship should be part of the mandatory curriculum of the student.
The intern will be involved in a research project focused on the intersection of nutrition, environmental exposures, and cardiometabolic health. Their work will primarily involve handling and analyzing data from a large epidemiological cohort, including the preparation of datasets, conducting statistical analyses, and interpreting results. The intern will also contribute to literature reviews, assist in the development of figures and tables, and support the writing of scientific outputs. Depending on the progress of the work, participation in a peer-reviewed publication is expected.
In the framework of this work, the Master's student will benefit from the expertise of Dr. Torsten Bohn and other team members in the nutrition and health domain.
