The WHS Worldwide Ergonomics and Safety Experience (WESE) team is seeking a detailed-oriented, experienced Program Manager to lead join the Ergonomics Policy Implementation team vertical, and coordinate regulatory ergonomic responses with the governance and external affairs team.
This team will partner closely with Governance and External Affairs, Legal, and Operations Excellence to drive awareness of, and adherence to, the ergonomics policies and procedures with the goal of driving site-specific risk reduction. This position requires an experienced, customer-obsessed leader, with deep project management expertise, who can interface with policy managers to deliver results via cross organizational programs, working through ambiguity, forging cross-discipline relationships, and influencing senior leaders and executives.
This role requires travel 25% of the time.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive the implementation of ergonomic conformance programs across functions and across regions
- Manage ambiguity and design solutions for which they oversee the successful rollout and implementation
- Identify and address customer business pain points by actively deep diving into data and operational processes, and by working with cross-functional teams
- Anticipate bottlenecks and blockers, assess risks, mitigate issues, and troubleshoot, as needed
- Provide effective communication to customers and stakeholders across regions
- Write effective Amazon documents and ensure high quality content for stakeholders
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of a variety of field ergonomic methods, including, but not limited to : the NIOSH Lifting Equation and its derivatives, the Strain Index, OCRA, psycho-physical limits, anthropometry- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvementsExperience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadershipA Bachelor degree or equivalent level of qualification in line with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).Bachelor's degree field : supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Extensive direct field experience in industrial settings focused on improving physical ergonomic conditions and human performanceExtensive experience in relevant management and policy experience.Master's degree, or MBA in ergonomics, business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field - Experience leading process improvements
