Baker McKenzie Luxembourg is seeking a Tax Knowledge Manager to join our dynamic Tax team in Luxembourg.
As part of the Tax team, you will work in close collaboration with the Tax Lawyers and Tax Specialists depending on the legal & tax issues and informational needs related to clients files.
You will be in charge of :
Support Tax Team
- Drafting the weekly tax watch : active and continuous monitoring of international, European and Luxembourg tax news, case law and doctrine;
- Doing tax researches : supporting the fee-earners in their tax researches;
- Knowledge management : collecting, managing and developing Tax Know-How and ensuring the appropriate diffusion;
- Providing recommendations for the purchase of new books, legal revues and electronic databases.
Business Development Support
Drafting client-facing materials such as tax alerts, quarterly legal updates, and briefings, to showcase the firm’s expertise and keep clients informed;Support business development initiatives : coordinating internal and external tax publications, brochures, etc;Leading and preparing clients’ tax conferences and presentations.Trainings
Organizing and conducting regular internal training sessions to keep lawyers up-to-date on tax news, hot topics, latest case law, best practices, and new tools (including legal tech tools and AI applications);Assisting in the training and induction of new joiners on internal processes, knowledge management systems, and legal resources.We are looking for :
Master’s degree in tax law and / or PhD in tax law;Candidates with an experience from 3 to 5 years in Knowledge Management or in the tax field;Fluency in both English and French;Excellent written communication and drafting skills;Candidates with ability to be a team player with strong tax technical skills and effective communication skills to keep relevant lawyers and tax specialists informed in a timely manner;Candidates with highest working standards and strong service orientation — a "client first" culture;Candidates with ability to demonstrate initiative and proactivity;Talents who enjoy teamwork and share our entrepreneurial culture, which is based on pragmatism, listening and diversity.
