Job description

As Technology Engineer She or He will work with the project team on the realization of new products and new concepts.

You develop, together with the team, competence and design rules about product ranges.

Your main responsibilities planning the workflow for qualification testing of new products and reporting the results to the management for approval in PTM.s.

Set-up test program for components together with Project team.

Design and run test programs / procedures including comprehensive data recording / monitoring using manual and automated recording techniques.

Introduce and improve test procedures, bring forth innovative ideas.

Investigate prototype comments and propose technical solutions during the Design review.

Check the incoming prototype parts, organise and follow-up.

Participate in project meetings Project Organisation and schedule required testing equipment (Measurement devices, GENSET etc...)

You design the working algorithm, software and electrical design of the compressor.

You will demonstrate the technical feasibility through test and calculations. You will verify commercial viability through consultation with project team.

You will lead a team of Labo technician and Labo assembler.

Based on the newly gained insights and interactions in the projects, you create new concept proposals to increase potential customer value.

Safeguard safety and follow the safetyprocedures in the lab.

Education and Experience requirements

Degree in Technical Education Electrical or Mechatronics, or similar

1-3 years in testing or industrial experience in global company.

Product knowledge of compressors and / or similar technical knowledge

Knowledge

Computer literate and able to write simple programs for use in simplifying data reduction & process improvement.

Strong basic knowledge of single stage compressor performance and the factors affecting it

Basic understanding of rotor dynamics and vibration analysis

Understanding and familiarity with vibration measurements and data acquisition equipment
