This position is based on-site at the plant of Morgan Advanced Materials in Luxembourg (Windhof Koerich). You will be part of the Plant's Management Team, manage 1 team member, and report directly to the Senior Finance Manager Operations, based in France. As the main language at the plant is French, fluency in French is essential for integrating with the local team, and English is required for broader business communication. What you need to do Responsible for all site financials : month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, product costing, and financial reporting. Supervise and support the accountant in daily transactions, payment runs, bank reconciliations, and month-end activities. Responsibility to ensure completion of group IFRS financial reporting according to pre-defined timetable and quality according to group standards and requirements. Prepare and present financial indicators and analysis to support local business and manufacturing management. Lead and coordinate the ERP (Microsoft Dynamics D365) implementation for the site. Ensure statutory accounts are prepared in line with Lux GAAP and manage the audit process with external auditors. Liaise with the Swansea (UK) finance support team to delegate and coordinate transactional tasks. Support and train team members on new systems and processes as required. Identify, address, and implement areas for process improvement and efficiency. What you need to bring Proven finance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 8 years in accounting roles. Responsibility for the full Finance capabilities (accounting, cash, FP&A, capex management, tax etc.) Background in product costing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis specific to manufacturing; Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics D365. Experience preparing statutory accounts and managing external audits, familiarity with Lux GAAP. Ability to oversee daily financial operations, payment runs, bank reconciliations, and month-end close. Strong communication skills : fluent in French for the local team, proficient in English for broader business.
