Generali Investments Luxembourg S.A. is searching for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) The Financial Control department is responsible for all finance, tax and administrative aspects of Generali Investments Luxembourg (acting as ManCo / AIFM) and its clients. As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will play a pivotal leadership role in the Finance Department, overseeing all finance, tax, and administrative operations at GIL. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will manage a dynamic team and collaborate with internal departments, Generali Group entities, and external providers to ensure financial excellence and compliance. Finally, the CFO will join the broader CFO community within Generali Investments and will maintain direct access to the Generali Investment CFO. Lead and develop a finance team 3 – 8 members, including consultants. Oversee finance and administration for GIL and its clients for whom GIL acts as an authorized representative. Ensure high-quality financial data and manage consolidation for approximately 120 legal entities within the Generali Group. Supervise tax reporting and financial communications with GIL Management and Generali Group stakeholders. Manage accounting operations and payment processes, approving all outgoing payments and controlling the work of third-party providers and accountants. Validate and oversee fee computations, invoice processes, and re-invoicing activities. Contribute to and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including KPIs and variance analysis versus budget / forecast. Coordinate the production of annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with Luxembourg GAAP and internal controls, and manage external auditor relationships. Oversee cash management, including bank reconciliation and cash pooling forecasting. Direct management company (ManCo) tax returns, WHT, VAT processes, and coordinate transfer pricing studies. Lead CSSF regulatory reporting and oversee AuM and capital requirement computations. Drive budgeting, planning, and forecasting in alignment with GIH guidelines and close coordination with GIH group business entities, reporting findings to senior management and leading internal approval processes. Manage quarterly consolidation under IFRS for approximately 120 legal entities, ensuring timely and accurate group reporting. Maintain data quality processes and audits, ensuring compliance with ISAE, Luxembourg law, and entity-level controls. Oversee Group Tax reporting (including CFC, Transfer Pricing, ATAD II) for GIL and consolidated entities. Requirements Education & Experience Minimum 15 years of experience in an accounting / finance department; prior experience in a management company (ManCo) or audit is a strong advantage. Proven team leadership experience. Comprehensive knowledge of accounting, tax, legal, and regulatory requirements relevant to Luxembourg-based ManCos; experience with LuxGAAP and consolidation processes preferred. Master's degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent qualification). Technical Skills : Ability to interact with a variety of partners globally and to build partnerships of trust; Solid analytical skills and ability to rapidly comprehend complex issues; Extensive knowledge of the fund industry (AIFM and UCITS) and different Company structures Ability to deliver sound opinion and to present solutions with impact; Project Management skills to focus on key aspects in the face of complexity and time constraints; Willingness to learn new things and to look into a broad range of topics; Goal oriented, self-driven flexible. Languages : Fluent in English (oral and written); the knowledge of french or Italian is considered a plus. Soft skills : Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written Ability to detail technical information in order to produce concise and effective presentations. Solution oriented.
