Senior Credit Risk Analyst (M / F) (Team Banks & Countries)

Your Mission Within the Credit Risk department, you will analyze credit requests for Banks and Sovereigns counterparties and conduct a dynamic monitoring of their creditworthiness. This activity will be performed within the framework of the Bank policies / procedures and the respect of the regulatory environment. "3 lines of defense" model : Within Risk Management department, you will be part of the second line of defense (alongside Compliance department) which provides rules, policies and guidelines for the first line of defense, i.e. the teams directly working with our bank clients. The third line of defense, through our internal audit team, makes sure that the first two lines are in line with legal requirements of our supervisors and the risk appetite of the Bank. Your next challenge : You have a deep understanding of banks' financial analysis and sovereign risk (at least three years in the field) enabling you to identify inherent risks and formalize an opinion, thereby facilitating the decision-making of the competent credit authorities. You are familiar with the standardized approach under CRR 3 and external rating agencies You possess a solid understanding of financial market products, including treasury, bonds, and derivatives. You can monitor and evaluate the indirect impacts of daily market events on banks' and sovereigns' portfolios You collaborate closely with the Front Officers and Market Dealers to support them with their credit limit requests. You are proficient in using VBA, SQL and / or Python, for developing internal reports / tools and building dashboards. Your skills : You hold a master's degree in Finance or Economics (additional certificates, including FRM and CFA, constitute an advantage) You are fluent in both French and English (German is an advantage). You have a good command of standard office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel). You are rigorous and possess excellent writing and analytical skills, allowing you to synthesize information effectively.
