Head of Fund Operations, Semi-Liquid Product

Introtroduction

Our client is a leading global Private Equity firm with an established and growing operation in Luxembourg.

Role

“Head of Semi-Liquid Product Operations and Oversight”, i.e. being responsible for the day-to-day operations of the semi-liquid product

Team lead a dedicated senior fund controller who reports into this position.

Key tasks & responsibilities (oversight, verification and review)

Fund accounting and standard reporting (quarterly, but expect to transfer into monthly)

E.g. NAV, KIIDs, tax reporting and VAT compliance (TBC can be outsourced), and general IT integration for reporting purposes

NAV coordination and collection from underlying funds and investments

Oversee subs / reds process managed by external provider (lock-up, early redemption, etc)

TA / admin relationship with external provider, including service agreements

Trading and execution workflow – incl cash management trading, trade files

Procure To Pay incl. cash management and credit facility

Oversight framework and program

CSSF reporting (SAQ, etc.)

Operational client (new distributors) onboarding and queries

First point of contact towards the external board, incl. participation in quarterly board meetings and preparation of material

Facilitate and drive internal SteerCo's incl. cross-functional coordination (Valuation team, Distribution Team, Finance team, Portfolio Management, etc.)

Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, etc.

Annual accounts and auditor relationship

Prerequisites and skillsets

Senior profile with experience from the semi-liquid market, especially alternative investments.

Extensive fund operations experience

Highly independent and excellent stakeholder management skills (both internal and external stakeholder touchpoints)
