Applicants must be enrolled in a Master's program, and the internship must be a mandatory part of the degree.
Within the Department of Precision Health, the Ageing, Cancer and Disparities Research Unit (ACADI) aims to investigate key moments in the cancer pathway where inequalities are likely to occur, namely pre-diagnosis, treatment decision-making, and active treatment, and propose recommendations and interventions.
The ACADI team has recently received support from ThinkPink Luxembourg to run a project that will set the team's future research agenda on cancer treatment decision-making in Luxembourg. For the first phase of the project, comprising a qualitative questionnaire sent to patients, family, and healthcare professionals, we are offering a 6-month Master's Student internship.
The main tasks of the Master's Student will be to work on distributing the survey and conducting preliminary qualitative content analysis on the data. In the frame of this work, the Master student will benefit from the expertise of Dr India Pinker in health psychology and Dr Sophie Pilleron in epidemiology.
