Investment Manager - Private Equity Funds & Asset Allocation - AS261

Our client, a family holding company in Luxembourg, investing in education and sustainable energies is expanding the Luxembourg team. The company, throughout its investments, desires to have a positive impact on both society and environment.

The holding company invests by acquiring stakes in privately held businesses, making commitments to private equity funds, placing capital in listed markets, and managing its liquidity proactively. All investment activities are directed toward themes with significant social and environmental impact, with a particular emphasis on the circular economy, education, and physical well-being.

To reinforce the Luxembourg team, the company is looking for an Investment Manager - Private Equity Funds & Asset Allocation. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Asset Management.

Key Responsibilities

Private Equity Funds Analysis

• Evaluate investment prospects across Buyout, Growth, and Venture Capital funds.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, reviewing strategy, team composition, historical results, competitive landscape, alignment of interests, and ESG considerations.
• Critically assess materials from General Partners and develop independent, well-founded opinions.
• Draft clear and persuasive investment notes for decision-making committees.
• Monitor post-investment performance, including investor reporting, legal agreements, capital calls, and distributions; maintain regular dialogue with fund managers to stay informed and identify potential co-investment opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with external advisory firms on various matters.
