Senior Accountant (Fixed-Term Contract)

Join a dynamic finance team within a well-established investment services firm. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing the accounting of several Luxembourg legal entities, preparing both statutory and management accounts, and supporting the wider European Accounting Team. Key responsabilities : As a Senior Accountant your main responsabilities will be : Maintain accurate accounting records for assigned Luxembourg entities Prepare quarterly / semi-annual financial statements and annual accounts under Lux GAAP Prepare Luxembourg VAT and corporate tax returns Generate financial reports in line with third-party reporting requirements Monitor assigned entities for potential regulatory or compliance issues Coordinate with Legal teams for required legal documentation Review legal documents prepared by Legal or external law firms Monitor and manage cash balances; coordinate fund movements with the Cash Management team Prepare and review waterfalls, ensuring cash flow accuracy through the structures Assist with external audits Review investment income reports; conduct balance sheet and P&L analysis by entity Reconcile intercompany transactions Perform currency revaluation and translation analysis Participate in ad-hoc projects and support cross-functional teams (e.g. financial statement requests, system testing) Profile : As a Senior accountant, you have : Degree in Accounting or Finance (BTS / Graduate degree minimum) Minimum 3 years of experience, ideally with international exposure Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP is essential Experience in Luxembourg VAT and tax filing is required Exposure to real estate accounting is a plus Fluent in English and French (written and spoken) Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Oracle is an advantage Strong analytical skills, autonomy, and communication abilities Proactive, flexible, detail-oriented, and results-driven Ability to deliver high-quality work to demanding internal stakeholders What we offer : A dynamic and multicultural working environment A variety of tasks with a high level of autonomy Exposure to both local and international teams The opportunity to work with a reputable player in the investment industry ...
