Compliance Officer – fixed term contract (CDD) until January 2027

The Compliance Department at Nomura Bank (Luxembourg) S.A. is responsible for protecting the Bank, its affiliates and customers from any damage that might result from the failure to comply with its regulatory obligations and assisting the management in monitoring and mitigating Compliance risks in line with the risk appetite of the Bank and Nomura Group. In order to support our Compliance team, we are looking for a Compliance Analyst until January 2027. Your main tasks will be to : Perform 2nd lines of defence controls mainly AML related Monitor regulatory requirements and test controls to prevent / mitigate regulatory related risks Analyse and assess the impact of relevant regulatory requirements issued by the CSSF / BCL / CIMA or any other relevant lawmakers or regulatory authorities Support Compliance Department in the regulatory watch and answer to business queries Maintain appropriate relationship with the Clients, the Regulatory Authorities and various related parties Maintain up to date key compliance documents (Charters, Policies, and Procedures) Promote Compliance and Ethical culture and increase awareness throughout the organization. Job requirements : Studies in Law or Economics Experience in Compliance mainly on AML controls Comprehensive knowledge of the Fund Industry (Fund Administration and Depositary) and regulations related Fluency and good writing skills in English and good command of French.
